I’m Stacey Lannigan, an author and storyteller with a love for history, myth, and the magic of “what if.” Writing has always been my way of exploring the world — both the real one and the ones that live in my imagination.

I mainly write fantasy (with subgenres included), and focus on folklore and mythology.

Everywhere! Sometimes it’s from history books, sometimes from places I’ve visited, and other times from a single line of dialogue that pops into my head. I’m fascinated by the idea of forgotten voices and hidden stories, so a lot of my inspiration comes from asking: what if?
