Current Projects and Creative Adventures

Right now, I’m deeply involved in several exciting projects that I’m eager to tell you about.

Editing Le Chien de Bouley with New Scenes

One of my ongoing projects is revisiting Le Chien de Bouley, a story close to my heart. I’m adding new scenes that deepen the characters and expand the world. This process has been rewarding, allowing me to refine the narrative and bring fresh energy to the tale.

Reviving The Coming of the King

After a recent trip to Glasgow, I found new inspiration to revive The Coming of the King. The city’s rich history and atmospheric streets sparked ideas that I’m weaving into the story. This project feels like a fresh start, blending old drafts with new creativity.

A New Project in Early Stages

I’m also sketching out a brand-new story, still in its infancy. While I can’t share many details yet, I’m excited about the direction it’s taking and look forward to sharing more as it develops.

Why I Balance Two Worlds: Manager and Writer

Balancing a full-time administrative role with writing might seem challenging, but it fuels my creativity in unexpected ways. The busy office environment sharpens my organizational skills and discipline, which I apply to my writing schedule. Meanwhile, writing offers a creative escape that refreshes my mind and keeps me motivated.

This dual life also keeps me grounded. It reminds me that storytelling is not just about imagination but also about hard work and persistence. I hope sharing this balance encourages others who juggle multiple passions.

How You Can Join the Adventure

I want this blog to be interactive and welcoming. Here are some ways you can get involved:

  • Subscribe for monthly updates to never miss news or new posts.

  • Participate in Q&As by suggesting questions or creators you want to see featured.

  • Join The Quill Keepers when the street team launches to help spread the word and connect with other fans.

  • Enter Goodreads giveaways for a chance to win signed copies and exclusive content.

Your support and engagement mean the world to me. Together, we can build a community that celebrates fantasy and folklore.

Writing Tips and Insights

To give you a taste of what’s to come, here are a few writing tips I’ve found useful:

  • Create vivid settings by drawing from real places or experiences, like I did with Glasgow for The Coming of the King.

  • Develop characters with depth by exploring their motivations and flaws.

  • Don’t be afraid to rewrite. Editing is where stories truly take shape.

  • Read widely in your genre to understand trends and find inspiration.

I’ll be sharing more detailed advice and examples in future posts.

Spotlight with Stacey: Conversations with Creators

One of my favorite parts of this blog will be the "Spotlight with Stacey" series. I’ll interview authors, artists, and other creatives who bring fantasy and folklore to life. These conversations will offer behind-the-scenes looks at their work and insights into their creative processes.
